Museum housed in a replica of the Seaview Baptist Church, commemorating the African Nova Scotian community of Africville—demolished by Halifax in the 1960s. Exhibits honour a community that met racism with grace and faith. UNESCO Place of History and Memory.

National Historic Site. Adjacent Africville Park has harbour views and a 1 km heritage trail.
